GARDEN STYLING

Sometimes in the case of large established gardens, there is simply a need to review what already exists, give advice on the best way to improve it, and make simple adjustments to revitalize it. This may include designing new containers and window boxes, replanting or simply renewing furniture and sourcing cushions, garden lanterns or simply re-covering cushions and chair pads.

We take a cooperative approach, tailoring my services according to taste, needs and budget of every client. This includes everything from water features and pergolas and arbors to details such as fencing, screens, trellis, benches, plant containers and window boxes. There are options to source and accommodate a wide range of sculptures, garden accessories, and other decorative elements from all over the world.
02.

PLANTING ADVICE

Even the most contemporary gardens with clean architectural lines and strong bone structure need to be softened with beautiful planting. We make spaces come to life with lush and luxurious plantings consisting of parkland surroundings, garden rooms, informal plantings, herbaceous borders and flowers.

This could involve a total redesign and replanting of borders or could simply be supplementary or seasonal planting. We work with a selection of specialist trade plant nurseries to source the best possible plant specimens.
03.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Landscaping has a number of construction challenges which are unlike any potential problems found in the interior of a house. It is a specialized area which requires a range of skills and team work. The main role will be supervising the work to ensure the project is steered correctly towards the final design and is finished as specified. This involves regular site visits, the signing off of work as it is completed and, if required, the certification of completed work.

Project administration and management is crucial as quite often important decisions and changes are needed at quite a late stage as the project develops and the successful coordination between landscape architects, designers and contractors is mission critical.
04.

MAINTENANCE OVERSIGHT

We will prepare detailed weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual maintenance calendars as well as replanting plans in the case of cutting gardens and vegetable gardens. I offer on-going advice on planting, aftercare and maintenance direction.

The team can create full-time landscape maintenance teams, hire gardeners or recommend landscape maintenance contractors and third-party gardeners to help with regular garden care. We can schedule regular visits, where feasible, to ensure that maintenance plans are appropriately implemented and oversee additional or revised planting is needed.
